Queen Alexander Cluster stud earrings

Inspired by the Queen Alexandra Earrings, these Bohemian crystal and faux pearl earrings have been a popular design since the 1850's. The original pearl earrings, surrounded by diamonds were designed by Garrard the Crown jeweller in 1863. They were part of the wedding gift that the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) gave to his bride Princess Alexandra of Denmark. She wore them often, including at her Coronation in 1902. They were passed down through the Royal Family to Queen Mary, who also wore them often. When she died in 1953, they were bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth II. 

These earrings are made from lead-free pewter and gold-plated. They are embellished with faux pearls and Bohemian crystals.

Measurements

These earrings are 1.8cm(0.7in) in diameter and have hypoallergenic backs.
