The Crown of Norway was made for the coronation of King Charles XIV in 1818 by the Swedish jeweller 'Eric Linderoth'. The golden crown has seven strawberry leaves, and eight half arches, which rise to the centre, topped by a large globe and a diamond cross. A remarkable, large Chrysoberyl purchased from Brazil, was mounted in the front of the crown. Our Crown of Norway Miniature is gold plated and embellished with bohemian crystals and enamelling to replicate this magnificent piece.
