Step into the royal heritage with this extraordinary Prussian Miniature set featuring two iconic crowns associated with the Prussian monarchy:
- The Crown of Prussia - Crafted by the Court Jewellers for King Frederick 1st of Prussia in 1701, this crown played a significant role in the coronations of Frederick William I and his son, Frederick II, famously known as Frederick the Great. Notoriously frugal, Frederick the Great chose not to wear the crown, and it was only present at his coronation ceremony.
- The Hohenzollern Crown - Created by the Court Crown Jewellers for Kaiser William II, the Emperor of Germany, in 1888. Following his abdication in 1918, Emperor William II retained possession of the family jewels, including this crown. During World War II, the crown was cleverly hidden by being bricked up in a church crypt. Fortunately, it was discovered and returned to the Hohenzollern family, finding its current home at the Schloss Hohenzollern.
Indulge in the magnificence of these miniature replicas, expertly cast in fine English pewter, 24ct gold plated, and adorned with exquisite bohemian crystals. Presented in a stylish presentation box, they capture the grandeur and historical significance of the Crown of Prussia and the Hohenzollern Crown.
